The Story Behind Al Pasha

Originally built in the 19th century, Al Pasha was originally a traditional Damascene home owned by a prominent family of the Old City. Its courtyards, carved woodwork, and stone arches reflect the architectural soul of Damascusa place where families gathered; stories were shared, and life unfolded around jasmine-filled spaces.

Restoration Story

The house was carefully restored using traditional techniques to preserve its original character, while introducing discreet modern comforts. Local artisans revived the wood, stone, and mosaics, ensuring every detail remained true to its Damascene heritage. The result is a home reborn, timeless yet welcoming to today’s traveler.
